I'm in the 3rd session, which should be afternoon (I think).
Hopefully I won't be too nervous tomorrow, and hopefully I can pass the test.. XD

Terrible! Horrible!! VEGETABLE!!!
Okay... Well, guess what? I did a... super horrible job just now for my on-the-road practice...
My instructor was shocked with my performance today because I did quite well when we met up last Sunday..
Well... I wouldn't want to share what happened... LOL.
Probably I'm just too sleepy or something... Gotta practice more on this coming Thursday.
Moral of the story: SLEEP EARLIER if you know that you are having driving class the next morning. :)
That's all for now... BYE!

Brand New Start
Well, this is the sixth month since I started my Diploma course at Taylor's Lakeside University. How was it? My answer will always be the same.. Stressful yet enjoyable :)...
Term 1 was fine, but in Term 2, the timetable is really hectic and verrrrry different from Term 1... Classes are usually from 8 a.m. ~ 6 p.m. If you are talking about practical classes like kitchen and restaurant classes, they are usually from 8 a.m. ~ 2 p.m. You are asking, are we serving breakfast? No :) We are serving lunch at 12 noon. We need to do mise-en-place (pre-preparation) to set up the restaurant, worst still, there are chances of us ending the class after 3 p.m. because sometimes the guests just feel too comfortable in the restaurant and do not feel like living :P So this actually slows down our restaurant closing. Imagine you need to be in heels for that six or seven hours, and you are not allowed to be seated until your guests leave, painful huh? But oh well, I still enjoy restaurant classes :) Will be starting my internship soon anyway, need to train myself to stand more :D As for kitchen classes, well, like I said, it is from 8 a.m. ~ 2 p.m. but this usually ends earlier, at 1.30 p.m. because according to the rules stated, the last order in the restaurant is at... 1 p.m. or 1.30 p.m.? Oh well, I can't remember... anchovy brain.. Quote Ei Von, a.k.a. my kitchen partner :P Good to have her as my kitchen partner. We do argue (not the very big one, just small arguments!) sometimes, but I still think that I can work best with her :D We know what each another is capable of, so from there, we can work together better... For example.. We need to cut pumpkin, I have more strength than her, so I will cut the pumpkin into quarter-sized chunks, and we both work together to cut them into smaller pieces and peel off the skin :P But obviously she is better than me so when she have done her part she will help me! :D As for Rooms Division which includes Housekeeping and Front Office classes it usually takes about 3 hours per class we learn about how to make a bed (Housekeeping) and how to communicate with the guest in a correct manner (via telephone, or face-to-face). Well, I am sure I will learn more in Term 3 ;)
Moving on to Theory classes, well, my current favourite subject is... Tadaaa, COMG Thinking Skills! Taught by Mr. Adrian... A subject that inspires you to think more (conclusion of the subject in one sentence). Enhances critical and creative thinking...! Well it is fun... For Thinking Skills Black Box Challenge (It is a MUST for every batch, so enjoy!) we have a comb this year..
Yes, a FREAKING comb! So... what happened to the comb? Will talk about that in another post maybe, long story :) Well, we also have classes on Malaysian Studies, and no, classes will never be boring if you have a good lecturer like mine :P Miss Sophie! She is super nice and funny :D ♥ her! Believe it or not, we still have classes on Principles of Accounting, well we are learning the basics la :) I heard that it is a must for most of the courses... Business Mathematics I.. :/ similar to additional mathematics (certain chapters) and will continue in next term..? Food Science & Sanitation I... Divided into two parts, Nutrition and Hygiene, for the Nutrition part you have to study to know what are the functions of vitamins and minerals and some other things :P Hygiene is more on common sense (according to Miss Nancy) but still need to study okay? Got all the wierd wierd bacteria names to memorize la.. :-*
Well I guess that's all for now. BYE!

Time for me to settle down and think, seriously for once, what I want....
Culinary arts? Hotel management?
Open my own bakery shop? Or even my very own clubhouse?
Omega Leo club? yes, ACGBU.
Sooooooooooooooo, next question, which college?
Where?
Taylors lakeside? Inti? Or even overseas?
How about study and working at the same time?
Yes, thought of it before, work part time in bakery. It'll be tough and tiring but I think it's a great oppurtunity to learn.

Waiting for exams to finish, then I shall bake.... Chocolate Marbled Cheese Cake... Recipe from ubersuperbakes by supersara. Yeaap, this girl is real awesome ;)) I met her in person once, during some Leo project, she taught us how to bake. I even learnt how to make royal icing that day and I can still remember till now. No doubt, she can become a super good teacher ;DD! So, the only thing different about the cheesecake... maybe replacing the oreo crust with digestive biscuit base... We'll see how it turns out ;))
And, baking Blueberry Cheese Tarts as well..... Well, my eldest brother loves cheese, he used to love cheese tarts, but he seldom eat cheese tarts now-a-days, because my dad said, cheese is fattening, cheese is not good for health and stuff, but i think it will be different if i bake it *at least dad might not stop kor from eating homemade cheese tarts*, AHA. >:D
As for my second brother, he 'requested' for 雞蛋糕, i'm not really sure about this but i think it's some sort of traditional steamed cake from China. My aunt (mother side) from KL taught me how to make the cake, gotta try it before i lost the recipe, haha. Next I will try to make some Char Siew Baos also. Haha, baking list is getting long.
Well, after next Friday, here comes the holidays! But i guess i'm going to be quite busy throughout my holidays. Gaaah. 1st day of holiday, 5th June - needa rush my monthly reports, send in. I'm going to get it done by 4th if possible... wanna go out shopping with my mom. Then, on the 5th shopping day, forum stuff + baking stuff. 6th baking day/ shopping day (again?). The Leo Forum starts on the 11th, but i need to be in Ipoh on the 10th, oh wells, Forum Secretary. Gonna be super busy for the whole week, especially before Forum, everyone will be busy finalizing everything. Hmmm... I better make sure all documents needed are printed out by forum or else i'm dead. =_=. Well good thing, I'm gonna retire soon ;P. But not retired YET.
And... I seriously need to study. Sigh. Physics Chemistry Accounts Moral Add Maths Modern Maths BM English Chinese Sejarah. That's right, ten subjects for SPM. It's like oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh my gawd. Well, I better push myself more to study then. ;))
Oh-oh, one more thing, I'm like addicted to Queen Seon Duk now-a-days. First time I'm addicted to Korean Drama, woooow. -___- Great timing man.
