Brand New Start

Well, this is the sixth month since I started my Diploma course at Taylor's Lakeside University. How was it? My answer will always be the same.. Stressful yet enjoyable :)...

Term 1 was fine, but in Term 2, the timetable is really hectic and verrrrry different from Term 1... Classes are usually from 8 a.m. ~ 6 p.m. If you are talking about practical classes like kitchen and restaurant classes, they are usually from 8 a.m. ~ 2 p.m. You are asking, are we serving breakfast? No :) We are serving lunch at 12 noon. We need to do mise-en-place (pre-preparation) to set up the restaurant, worst still, there are chances of us ending the class after 3 p.m. because sometimes the guests just feel too comfortable in the restaurant and do not feel like living :P So this actually slows down our restaurant closing. Imagine you need to be in heels for that six or seven hours, and you are not allowed to be seated until your guests leave, painful huh? But oh well, I still enjoy restaurant classes :) Will be starting my internship soon anyway, need to train myself to stand more :D As for kitchen classes, well, like I said, it is from 8 a.m. ~ 2 p.m. but this usually ends earlier, at 1.30 p.m. because according to the rules stated, the last order in the restaurant is at... 1 p.m. or 1.30 p.m.? Oh well, I can't remember... anchovy brain.. Quote Ei Von, a.k.a. my kitchen partner :P Good to have her as my kitchen partner. We do argue (not the very big one, just small arguments!) sometimes, but I still think that I can work best with her :D We know what each another is capable of, so from there, we can work together better... For example.. We need to cut pumpkin, I have more strength than her, so I will cut the pumpkin into quarter-sized chunks, and we both work together to cut them into smaller pieces and peel off the skin :P But obviously she is better than me so when she have done her part she will help me! :D As for Rooms Division which includes Housekeeping and Front Office classes it usually takes about 3 hours per class we learn about how to make a bed (Housekeeping) and how to communicate with the guest in a correct manner (via telephone, or face-to-face). Well, I am sure I will learn more in Term 3 ;)

Moving on to Theory classes, well, my current favourite subject is... Tadaaa, COMG Thinking Skills! Taught by Mr. Adrian... A subject that inspires you to think more (conclusion of the subject in one sentence). Enhances critical and creative thinking...! Well it is fun... For Thinking Skills Black Box Challenge (It is a MUST for every batch, so enjoy!) we have a comb this year..

Yes, a FREAKING comb! So... what happened to the comb? Will talk about that in another post maybe, long story :) Well, we also have classes on Malaysian Studies, and no, classes will never be boring if you have a good lecturer like mine :P Miss Sophie! She is super nice and funny :D  her! Believe it or not, we still have classes on Principles of Accounting, well we are learning the basics la :) I heard that it is a must for most of the courses... Business Mathematics I.. :/ similar to additional mathematics (certain chapters) and will continue in next term..? Food Science & Sanitation I... Divided into two parts, Nutrition and Hygiene, for the Nutrition part you have to study to know what are the functions of vitamins and minerals and some other things :P Hygiene is more on common sense (according to Miss Nancy) but still need to study okay? Got all the wierd wierd bacteria names to memorize la.. :-*

Well I guess that's all for now. BYE!

XOXO

Time for me to settle down and think, seriously for once, what I want....
Culinary arts? Hotel management?
Open my own bakery shop? Or even my very own clubhouse?
Omega Leo club? yes, ACGBU.
Sooooooooooooooo, next question, which college?
Where?
Taylors lakeside? Inti? Or even overseas?
How about study and working at the same time?
Yes, thought of it before, work part time in bakery. It'll be tough and tiring but I think it's a great oppurtunity to learn.
So, think.

Waiting for exams to finish, then I shall bake.... Chocolate Marbled Cheese Cake... Recipe from ubersuperbakes by supersara. Yeaap, this girl is real awesome ;)) I met her in person once, during some Leo project, she taught us how to bake. I even learnt how to make royal icing that day and I can still remember till now. No doubt, she can become a super good teacher ;DD! So, the only thing different about the cheesecake... maybe replacing the oreo crust with digestive biscuit base... We'll see how it turns out ;))
And, baking Blueberry Cheese Tarts as well..... Well, my eldest brother loves cheese, he used to love cheese tarts, but he seldom eat cheese tarts now-a-days, because my dad said, cheese is fattening, cheese is not good for health and stuff, but i think it will be different if i bake it *at least dad might not stop kor from eating homemade cheese tarts*, AHA. >:D

As for my second brother, he 'requested' for 雞蛋糕, i'm not really sure about this but i think it's some sort of traditional steamed cake from China. My aunt (mother side) from KL taught me how to make the cake, gotta try it before i lost the recipe, haha. Next I will try to make some Char Siew Baos also. Haha, baking list is getting long.

Well, after next Friday, here comes the holidays! But i guess i'm going to be quite busy throughout my holidays. Gaaah. 1st day of holiday, 5th June - needa rush my monthly reports, send in. I'm going to get it done by 4th if possible... wanna go out shopping with my mom. Then, on the 5th shopping day, forum stuff + baking stuff. 6th baking day/ shopping day (again?). The Leo Forum starts on the 11th, but i need to be in Ipoh on the 10th, oh wells, Forum Secretary. Gonna be super busy for the whole week, especially before Forum, everyone will be busy finalizing everything. Hmmm... I better make sure all documents needed are printed out by forum or else i'm dead. =_=. Well good thing, I'm gonna retire soon ;P. But not retired YET.

And... I seriously need to study. Sigh. Physics Chemistry Accounts Moral Add Maths Modern Maths BM English Chinese Sejarah. That's right, ten subjects for SPM. It's like oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh my gawd. Well, I better push myself more to study then. ;))

Oh-oh, one more thing, I'm like addicted to Queen Seon Duk now-a-days. First time I'm addicted to Korean Drama, woooow. -___- Great timing man.

I Queen Seon Duk I Kim Yu-Shin I Alcheon I Bidam

Right, Signing off! ;))

Today was a Fairytale - Taylor Swift
Today was a fairytale

You were the prince
I used to be a damsel in distress
You took me by the hand and you picked me up at six
Today was a fairytale

Today was a fairytale

Today was a fairytale
I wore a dress
You wore a dark grey t-shirt
You told me I was pretty when I looked like a mess

Today was a fairytale
Time slows down whenever you're around

But can you feel this magic in the air?
It must have been the way you kissed me
Fell in love when I saw you standing there
It must have been the way
Today was a fairytale

It must have been the way
Today was a fairytale

Today was a fairytale
You've got a smile that takes me to another planet
Every move you make everything you say is right
Today was a fairytale

Today was a fairytale
All that I can say is it's getting so much clearer
Nothing made sense until the time I saw your face
Today was a fairytale

Time slows down whenever you're around
Yeah yeah

But can you feel this magic in the air?
It must have been the way you kissed me
Fell in love when I saw you standing there
It must have been the way
Today was a fairytale

It must have been the way
Today was a fairytale

Time slows down whenever you're around
I can feel my heart
It's beating in my chest
Did you feel it?
I can't put this down

But can you feel this magic in the air?
It must have been the way you kissed me
Fell in love when I saw you standing there
It must have been the way

But can you feel this magic in the air?
It must have been the way you kissed me
Fell in love when I saw you standing there
It must have been the way
Today was a fairytale

It must have been the way
Today was a fairytale

Life's miserable, why? Because it is miserable.

Felt so bored now, maybe just some short updates on what I did today... ;)

Well, I went for ching ming this morning, then Michelle Kho's dad came to Subang Jaya to pick me and Wei Phern to Subang Parade to attend Emily's project, Regional Eco Week - Help Our Precious Earth (H.O.P.E.). We reached there around 1++, close to 2, we joined them for like one hour plus. We were kinda late, so we actually missed some good 'show' D; BUT, still they introduced all the participants, and their models, then they have these performances with guest artists, and, oh it was awesome ;)

Anyways, Bryan, Shu Mei, Shu Lyn and Anna did a great job! And congratulations guys for winning the SECOND PLACE for the fashion show!! WOOHOOO!!!!

Then me, Mich Kho and Xin Rou started to lepak around at 3 ++ since the main events were over, plus they were having a short break before the next event. We went walking around, from the ground floor to the first floor then to the second floor then into the shopping complex and then the third floor and back to second floor then to the ground floor again. Well, we were busy chatting while walking, so we actually walked in that so-called-sequence for 2 rounds.

Oh then Xin Rou left me and Mich Kho around 3.30 and we met up with Wei Phern at BR, we bought bubble tea from Cool Blog, DAMN THIRSTY!! Right after that We went to Sunway Pyramid by bus. We walked to the bus station outside Carrefour, then we waited there, then Wei Phern said, eh there got bus to Sunway Pyramid la *pointing at the opposite side*. OK, so we went over to that side. Then when all of us reached there, suddenly all the buses gone missing and the opposite side started to have more and more buses -_- Then we waited for god-knows-how-long, finally there's a bus, then Wei Phern asked for Sunway Pyramid, nicely, then that fella go scold Wei Phern, OPPOSITE SIDE LA. WTF -________- WHO KNOWS WORH YOUR CARDBOAD THERE WRITING SUNWAY PYRAMID AND WHAT-EVER-CRAP-WHAT-THE-HECK-DAMN-YOU-CURSE-YOU-LA-FIRST-TIME-WE-TAKE-BUS-FROM-CARREFOUR-WTF-IS-WRONG-WITH-YOU-BUSTARD-WHAT-THE-F. oh i should stop that now. LOL, so we went back to the opposite side, Wei Phern is kinda like scolding the bus driver, chill la ah boy.

Oh so we went back there to wait for another bus, and finally it came, oh guess what, before the bus came, we met Yuan Ting at the bus stop ;D and then we went up to the mini bus, the place me and Michelle Kho sat was quite... LOL? We saw someone wrote there: I promise after finish Diploma I won't sit bus again. I will have my own car and business. I want to be an Artis!!!... =w=.... Nice one. So, we arrived at Pyramid in less than 15 minutes, then we went to Watsons, damn THIRSTY. Ah boy left us when we were paying at cashier.

Me and Mich Kho went to uhmm sorry i forgotten what's the shop name to buy shirts for her friend, then she bought a pair of slippers for herself =w=... then we went to redbox to check out the price for karaoke, passed by Coco Banana and The Opera i was so tempted to go in and see what's inside ;X Then Mich. Kho called her mom to pick us up from pyramid, then after few minutes only she realised that i actually told her that i wanna go shop for a present for my friend, she we rushed to Diva, we left the shop empty-handed, and her mom just reached pyramid right on time ;) she dropped me home after that.

Thank you so much Michelle Kho, thanks aunty! :D
